Toddy, Toddy Boy, ‘T’ Boy or Guvnor, I’ve spent over 30 years of my life working in, or on, some sort of TV, film or video project. In the UK you’ll find my name on programmes with companies like the BBC and Channel 4 and in Los Angeles with Hasbro and Cartoon Network – [series] Idaten Jump 2007.
As a puppeteer, I worked on movies such as The Muppet Christmas Carol and Treasure Island. On TV you’ll see ‘bits of me’ on shows like Spitting Image, Noels House Party, Live and Kicking as well as 26 other BBC and ITV shows & commercials.
Writing and directing has given me credits in film and TV, as well as a Golden Ace Film Award in Las Vegas for my debut feature film Bad Reception, [feature] (2009). On TV, I have writing/directing credits on CBBC shows The Little Green Planet Show [series] and The Digital Rebels [series].
As a producer, in 2004, Hearing Things [short] starring Felicity Jones won a Jerwood prize (writer/director, Claire Ingham) and a best short film prize at the Stratford Short Film Festival. In Los Angeles, I worked on a number of independent, low budget films including Kid Racer [feature] and Get the Girl [feature].
In corporate circles, Pocket Pictures creates training series and sales material from our superb studio in the Midlands. You’ll find my name on over 600 corporate sales, instructional or training films.
